Help me Decide coilovers!
I've narrowed it down between the Buddy Club N+ and the Tein Type Flex. I have the flex on my 99 and love it and would love it on my 06. How ever I keep reading good reviews about the N+. Its not as aggressive compared to the flex's. I really like the Mugen SS ride in my friends RSX, but its not low enough for me. So Flex or N+? I just dont want it to not be as aggresive as I want it.

I don't think anyone has the Buddy Club's yet as they are fairly new! I would love to see someone get a set

If you are going to spend the money, IMO if you are trying to improve your handling, purchase "true" coilovers where the springs are properly located over both the front struts and rear shocks. If not, go with whatever price you want to spend for lowering your car.

Do you know of anyone that makes a coil over set up with the rear having the spring over the damper? I don't think that the rear strut tower is designed to support the force of both the damper and the spring. I should (finaly) get my Tein Flex on monday or tuesday. I have Tein SS right now and they ride good on the stiffest setting and handle better on the stiffest setting too (not only because its stiffer but also because it eliminated the mid corner bounce after the weight transfer) So since the ride is fine on my SS, i figured i had room to add stiffness without hating the ride. But thats me. You really need to ask yourself some questions. Do i think the Si is stiff stock? Do i want to spend $1600 on a suspension that might me too stiff for me. Am i going to race the car down the road? ( Auto X here i come |
