S2000 Rotors Fit the Si?
I am driving a non-Si, but is using Si stock front calipers and rotors on my ride.
I am now thinking of replacing the Si stock rotors with those from Racing Brake. The front rotor made by Racing Brake for Si uses this material called Alloyed Gray Iron and weighs 15 lbs each. On the other hand, the front rotor made by Racing Brake for S2000 uses Racing Formula Alloyed Gray Iron, heat treated and weighs 14.1 lbs each. In terms of dimension, they are both the same : 300 x 25mm (11.8" x 0.9"). The front rotor made by Racing Brake for S2000 is clearly more superior than the Si's in term of material and weight. If the S2000 front rotor can fit the Si, it will fit my ride too. Can any kind souls advise me if the S2000 front rotor will fit on the Si ? Many thanks. |

so if the S2000 rotor fits our Si's, that must mean a big brake upgrade for the s2000 must fit as well correct? because the rotor would have to be located in the same area for out stock caliper to work, therefor a caliper relocator kit with a rotor should work as well?
from what i understand too the rsx front big rotor kit fits as well from club rsx. so the options just widend did they? |
