Brake Rust

Hey all, I had a question concerning rotor rust on the stock rotors for an 07 si. do all of you who still have stock rotors have this issue and is there something you can do to prevent it? i live in south florida so could it be that it rains so much and the rotors just naturally build up rust on them?
