SI rear sway bar brackets ???
Am I missing something. I have looked at Honda Parts Catalog in the section (lower control arm) that shows the rear sway bar for both the SI and Ex models. Each vehicle has a different part number for the left and right mounting brackets. This is the part that the bushing holder and bushing are mounted to. I talked to a Honda Parts Manager whom I trust about this and was told SI brackets are beefer. So if you are going to install the SI rear sway bar on your EX you should replace your Ex brackets with the SI brackets. The reason is simple, that is how Honda designed the SI suspension. I don't know if this will damage your suspension or not, but if it does I don't think Honda will warranty a modified suspension. The cost of these 2 brackets depending on where you purchase them is under $20. Cheap insurance IMO. Besides it my only add 30 minutes to the installation.

Would those be these brackets?
52317-SVB-A01 BRACKET, R. RR. STABILIZER 1 x $3.02 52318-SVB-A01 BRACKET, L. RR. STABILIZER 1 x $3.02 I got that off the list from the first post of this huge thread. That's the list I went by when I bought all of my parts. |
