Stainless Steel Brake Lines on '07 Si Sedan
Has anyone beside me attempted to have these installed?
I ordered a set from Tai at CorSport and they are a quality part, for sure. The front set of lines will install without a problem; the rear set is a different story. It seems that the stock brake lines are welded to the bracket inside the rear wheel well, and the bracket is welded to the body. The thin metal brake line that emanates from the ABS unit will disconnect, but not the stock rubber brake line. Looks like a cutting torch and/or metal fabrication skills may be needed to replace the brake line. Any input from someone who has tackled this will be appreciated. |

for the rears, i cut the factory line off and slid the new one in. if not, just zip tie around the abs wire where it mounts.. don't tie it to the wire itself, but the mount incase it snags you won't rip a 30-40 dollar wire.
