Lowered vs Speed Bumps/ Snow/ Driveways

Hi, is anyone having problems driving in the snow (snow storm), speed bumps and driveways with a lowered car?

Please indicate your springs rate (brand) and your sitaution.

I have the Megan H-brace and it scraps sometime in the snow storm, I want to get comptech springs (1 inch drop) and I don't want to go wide angle everytime I pass a speedbump or driveway. Thanks.

i always drive at an angle over speed bumps or driveways. Easier on the suspension, stock or aftermarket.

I ride on Tein s-techs. If I take even the smallest speed bump head on, my H-brace smacks it. The front end scrapes on moderately steep driveways.

Its not really annoying to me though...its just something you learn to do..and don't really think about. Except when your passengers talk about it.

"why do you drive so wierd in parking lots?"
"I'll show you why" *massive H-brace scrape on speedbump"
"oh."

Dropped on Teins 1.4 and 1.3 .
I'm fine on speedbumps but I have to watch real steep driveways. I can't pull into one Dunkin Donuts here and I clear my driveway by 1/2 inch when it's dry. You just have to look at your situation. I just worry about becoming a snowplow but these days, the roads are clear within 12 hours and if it's that bad, I don't go out

As far as the X-Brace, almost everyone I've talked to with it has scraped at one point or another

my old 02 civic was dropped on tein springs and tokico shocks and i had a bomex bodykit on it, I had no problems with going over speed bumps sideways it was kind of like second nature after 4 years, but in the last december we had an ice storm/snow storm on dec 17th, on that night i had tickets to a hockey game down in stl. i live about 45 mins outside the LOU, on the way back the snow was so high that exiting the highway i was basically plowing snow! there was soo much noise coming from under the car that when i got off and went to QUICK TRIP gas station my friend pointed out that my BOMEX rear was gone!

I'm dropped on Skunk 2 springs. It's a pretty massive drop, but I've never bottomed out, or scraped on anything before, whether it was a dip in the road, speed bump, or driveway.
