So how would you compare the tein flex with the ground control/Koni set up? I thought that buddy club was a very respectable tunning company.

Tein Flex is more than enough if you do "highly spirited driving". If you autocross or road race regularly, GC/Koni would be superior to Tein Flex.

Well I really just use the car for street use. Never been to the track, but I would like to one day. I just want to have the best product for the car, money is not really an issue, I am good at saving. I just want the best for reliability,(it is my DD), and for when I do go to the track performance. If GC/Koni is the best then that is what I will do.

its each to his own, I personally have ran cars with buddy club (n+) and Tein flex, GC/Konis and the buddy clubs are actually alot better droping the car doesnt not effect the right only adjusting the dampering(this is comparing to the tein flex) Plust inverted mono tube (atleast on the rsx) is awesome

GC/Koni=BC > Tein

^why did they "suck", what was your experience with them? what did you expect out of them? what kind of driving? any racing? At least back up claims that "they suck" with reasons why.

few questions about the ground controle . . . its 339 for the set . . . does the set only consist of the front two springs? or do they have a rear set up to since the springs dont coil around the strut on the rear

The ground control that you see for our car has a slight defect on the rear. The rear springs will/might pop out when your you jack your car up or when there's no pressure on it because they're too short.

Thats not a defect, that is what "sleeve over" style "coilovers" do. A full real coilover is ALWAYS a better choice then sleeves (unless your are road racing on the cheap).

All coilovers are going to handle "worse" than stock as far as comfort goes. Its on launching, hard braking and turning and during racing they really shine.

i know what he is talking about...it did actually feel as if buddy club made these coilovers only for the huge drop and did not count in the fact that they need good performance out of them. I changed to the hfp suspension and feel as if this is A LOT better than the buddy clubs i had on my si.
