Handling Upgrade Order
What is the recommended order to go with in handling upgrades?
Here are the plans for an ASM EX Coupe: 1. Si Wheels and Tires 2. Si Sways 3. HFP Suspension what order is best here? When i say best I mean what makes the biggest impact on handling characteristics? Price does not matter here. I've used the search and found nothing on this matter. Thanks. |

Wheels and tires cost the most of the three items you want and are not as big of an an improvement unless you buy $800 to $1000 tires and wheels that cost $800 to $1600 +++. You want handling, so the HFP suspension and Si sway bars will give you the greatest improvement in handling for only $700 and you can DIY. IMO

tires should always be the first upgrade in handling/braking/acceleration. Without them, you will be spinning the tires or sliding out. I always upgrade from rubber. It doesn't mean you need rims, just upgrade the rubber to something grippier. Then you can push the car to its limits even safer and understand what's next to be upgraded.
