camber bolt washers?

i had my alignment shop install a set of SPC camber bolts for me prior to aligning my car. however, the camber bracket washer is behind the camber bolt and strut as opposed to being behind the nut and strut. is this how this is supposed to be installed? the diagram on the box that the bolts came in show that the washer should be behind the nut. does it even matter?

reason why i ask is ive been experiencing a clunking noise when turning the steering wheel on random occassions while driving at slow speeds (only from the driver's front side though). however, ive experienced the same noise prior to installing the bolts/getting the vehicle aligned, so im not sure what the source of the noise is. i have megan coilovers installed.

I can't answer your question, but maybe somebody could help if you tell what camber kit (screw) you installed?
