Coilover Installation Help

I've recently ordered the K-Sport Coilover Kit for the 2006 Civic. I've tried searching but unfortunately have came up with nothing. Has anyone from 8thcivic installed their own coilover suspension kit or hfp suspension for that matter? If there is any insight into how the easiest way going about it is please share. I appreciate any tips in advance

Nothing too hard to do. No instructions???

Basically unbolt and re-bolt. Take off wheel, remove the screw holding the brake line to the shock, loosen 3 bolts up top(in engine bay) remove bolts holding the shock/spring at the bottom, use something to hold the rotor up, remove 3 bolts you loosened up top, remove shock/spring. Install is samething but backwards.

Rear is the same as the frint but once you remove the shock push down on the rotor a bit and pull the spring out.

You can look at the Tein web site, I think they have install pics in there.

also in the front, there is like a "trap door" where the bolts to the top strut mount are. If you look at the upper shroud directly below the windshield there are two doors, both left & right side.

i installed tein coilover suspension on my 07 si. did the rear first, and then the front because you need a spring compressor to remove the stock assemply hardware w/o having the spring shoot it thru the roof. if the k-sport kit comes with the top assembly you wont need a spring compressor. the install was strait forward with the wheels and tires off the car, black civic si gave you the DIY from the site. use that it helped me. good luck.

Yeah, I installed my Tein SS and will install my Tein Flex if they ever get here. (stupid HP Autoworks) I just dove in without insturctions and it was straight foward. got done in 5 hours, with most of the time spent finding a tool to help me put the fronts together. If you've ever put any suspension on any car, it will be easy.
