Lowering an SI

How much would it cost to lower my SI a couple inches so that my 17's will fill the gaps better for parts/labor. I looked but couldn't find a clear cut answer.

Wow, you could'nt find a cut clear answer because you don't have a cut clear question. You have to know what your looking for, springs coiovers, how low you wanna go. Are you installing yourself...

All these go into how much your gunna pay.

Well, you can get a pretty good drop with these Tein S-Techs being sold by WeSellCarParts, one of our sponsors. If you are wondering about the whole fake S-Tech scare, I've already got mine from Dan here and they are the real deal, checked out with the pics on Tein's website.

Tein: Specials on in-stock products

That will pretty much get rid of the gap, also, you should buy rear camber kits from him too, ask him on aim, Dan's got a decent deal on SPC rear camber kits and front camber bolts too. You will need at least the rear camber kit because you will end up rubbing the inside of the tires and replacing them instead.

AIM = WeSellCarParts

Tell him I sent ya.

I just bought a set of Skunk 2 lowering springs on Ebay for $141. They lower the car about 2 inches which will fill the gap and still allow for a 18" wheel upgrade later if you decide to do so. As far as installation if you have the job done by a shop I would not pay more than 4 hours of labor. As soon as they are installed make sure you have a 4 wheel alignment done.
