Rear Camber Kit

This is very simple. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the hardest, I give it a 2.

First, buy your camber kit. I bought the Skunk2

Next, have a friend who owns a lift

Comes in handy when trying to get road salt off from underneath the car and when I get all my underbraces

After removing the wheel, you can remove the bolt holding the current arm to the spindle 14mm

Next remove the 2 14mm bolts holding the opposite end of the arm. You'll need a swivel and/or some finessing to get the back bolt on the passenger side since the exhaust is in the way. There is a bracket also attached to the passenger side arm. You won't need this.

Set the new arms next to the old ones and adjust the end on your new arm so it is the same length as the old one. Install them the same way they came off and you're done. My batteries went dead in the camera so I don't have install pics. If anyone has any, let me know and I'll post them. It's pretty straight forward and you can message me if you have any trouble

06blaksi when you set them to the same length it doesnt change the camber does it?

The camber stays the same I believe. I had to take mine for an alignment anyway so I wasn't too worried if it was when I was done. Thanks for the pics!!

Will pretty much any alignment shop adjust the aftermarket camber kits if neccessary?

They should but when I took mine in it didn't need anymore adjusting

Hey, 06blaksi, I think you are supposed to take off the brown plastic on your tein springs. I took them off my SS springs.

very nice man, great write up!! Do yours squeek at all? i was in a rush and didnt really grease the bolt that goes through. I feel that i should probably take that back & grease her up

i think the plastic/rubber piece on the springs is to help prevent squeeks

you talking about the actual sping seat in the rear or the camber kit?....didnt start squeeking until i installed the skunk2

You forgot to mention to get accurate camber and toe you have to constantley remove the wheel,then remove the bolt that goes through the hub/spindle.It's a pain in the ass. took me five times for the first side then 2 on the second .Once you do the first side set it an-.75 then when you do the other side and set it the counterballance weight of the car will make it about -.85 all around which worked perfect for me and it handles great.
It's nice to see the wheels almost straight.
Installing the upper rear controll arms is easy /I have skunk 2 which is much better you can fine tune it in milimeters. but again you do need to set you allignment after that .It took me a total of 2 hours and thats with a good allignment machine
