TL-S Brembo Questions -*updated with pics and template!*
I realize that running the TL-S brembos will need either an S2000 rotor OR TL-S Rotor with a 7mm spacer and extended wheel studs.
i contacted Racing Brake about building a hybrid 2 piece rotor that would make it a bolt on affair. also for anyone curious at doing this and wondering where you can get the calipers from... most auto parts stores can get them for pretty cheap, advance auto parts where i work and anyone can get them for $90 a piece. i ordered on just for kicks and giggles and when it comes in ill take a few pics and post them here! Matt edit-posting my template here- so here is a template i made. it should be close. directions are below. if they are not clear or giving you issues please ask. https://docs.google.com/open?id=18VI...Az6Ha0LdzOFhR- print it out portrait.... looks like it should be landscape but the scale will be wrong if you do. to check yourself, the yellow lines should be approximately 150mm in length (if youre within 5-10mm youll be fine) what youre going to do is cut along the green line (this goes against the hub in your wheel), then cut upwards to then around the red line outlining the caliper, now glue it to something solid like a piece of cardboard. the small black line intersecting the green line goes in the center of the wheel. this should tell you if your wheel will clear a TL-S caliper. it was fairly accurate to my wheels how the caliper looked so im pretty sure its close. give me some feedback if you feel something is skewed. btw i only modeled the half of the TL-S caliper that matters for fitting the wheel. i do not intent for this to be an end all be all of will this or that fit, but it will give you an idea. in the end test fitting the caliper will be what you need to do!!!!!! Buy Fenco Brake Caliper C9978 at Advance Auto Parts
disregard the picture. in my system on the computer it lists it as a 4 piston caliper. you can get them even cheaper on rockauto. Matt |

![]() i really should go look at my car before i go talking sometimes. spacers where the caliper and hub meet will never work. i thought the calliper bolted to the other side of the hub... whoopsies... hmm the 2-piece rotors are really looking like the only viable option for a truely bolt on solution. ill keep looking though. there has to be a rotor out there with similar backspacing to an s2000... i had a BBK on my MR2 that used a bracket to space out the stock caliper, and it used an RX8 rotor.... so hmm.... off to the interwebs Matt |

check this out! my stuff came in!
caliper pn.. i think this is the left ![]() rotor pn ![]() Prices- these are normal everyday prices ![]() Pics of the Calipers- paint them up and theyll look brand new! ![]() its a true rebuilt brembo ![]() new hardware! ![]() so for $400 bucks you could get a pair of s2000 rotors and tl-s calipers.. then when you get your Si calipers off you could return them as a core and get $100 of those bucks back! Good info! Thanks for looking putting in the time/effort. I'll keep watching this thread, I also just put new stoptech pads/rotors all around but would like to upgrade to the brembo calipers in the future.

This will work on r18 right? Do you need 17" wheels?
