XLR8 8th Civic Brake Packages NEW LOWER PRICING and NEW PACKAGES!!!

Excelerate Performance is proud to bring XLR8 Stoptech brake package deals to the 8th Civic Community. Already a hot seller, the XLR8 Stoptech Brake Packages are a great upgrade for your 8thGen at an affordable price.

Offered in Drilled and Slotted, Slotted, and Premium Blank, the Stoptech Rotors have a black e-coating on the hubs and vanes and an advanced alloy composition. The Stoptech slotted rotors for the front of most Hondas also have a Power Alloy composition and a curved vane construction, which helps reduce heat in the brake system.

The Stoptech Street Performance Brake Pads that come with these packages are a para-aramid compound, which has great initial bite and long-term performance and lower dust and noise than most aftermarket brake pads. Their Maximum Operating Temperature (MOT) is 1300F which is higher than any other street pad currently on the market. Not only do they perform well in hot temperatures they also perform well in cold temperatures. We have plenty of customers who run these pads in sub-zero climates and have no problems.

We have twelve different packages available for the 8thGen community. Six packages for the Si and six packages for the R18. Each package comes with Stoptech rotors (front/rear) and Stoptech Street Performance Pads (front/rear).

Our XLR8 Stainless Steel Brake Lines are made up of teflon hose that has an extruded teflon core with an outer stainless steel braided wire covering. The ends are then permanently crimped on each end. Each line is then finished with a black PVC cover, which gives added protection from flying debris or further abrasion protection from the line rubbing on suspension components. All lines are DOT certified and manufactured for us by an industry expert who has 25 years of experience.

By themselves, they are $100 plus shipping but I made packages for this community which include the brake lines at an additional $90 and no added shipping when checking out.

For four rotors and pads? You won't find a better bang for the buck out there.

So i'm from Virginia and just had a state inspection and failed because of my front pads but they recommended I change my rotors too. Can I just keep my rotors and get the stop tech pads or should I just get the stop tech premium rotors and the stop tech pads and call it a day? I'm a noob when it comes to brakes and this is my DD.

How many miles are on the car? If they recommended changing your rotors I would do so. The Premium Blanks don't cost that much (Si-$60, R18-$47, Each) and install won't go up too much either since you will already be changing the pads. If I were you, I would change the rotors and the pads so you have a fresh, clean start.

Oh man, this may have to happen. I need new pads and Honda is costing me more than your deal just for the pads. How long will this deal be going on? Also, for a DD, would ya'll suggest the drilled and slotted or just slotted?

Actually, you can. I pieced together the same kit from some website and it came to $249 shipped (for the blank package).

Now obviously, you can not sell the parts at cost or you wouldn't make any money. Also, there is some sort of "convenience" fee that you charge for having these I'm sure, which is perfectly fine. But for people out there who are tight on cash and want to piece together a good kit for cheap, it can be done for cheaper than what you offer (yes, StopTech rotors & pads).

Can you provide me with the website or store you did this with? If so, I will try to beat their price. We don't charge convenience fees for having these rotors. We don't charge "convenience" fess for anything. We are direct with Stoptech and work with them often so I would like to be able to offer you the best price possible.

For a DD, it really comes down to personal preference. You're not going to feel the difference between the two on the street. On the track, drilled and slotted will out perform slotted. But slotted is less prone to cracking then drilled and slotted. A lot of people will also say that you don't need more than blanks, but I know when I change a part on my car, I always like to upgrade. I personally like drilled and slotted and that's what I run on my vehicle. It's aesthetically pleasing and it does out perform slotted.

Also these are package deals and do not have a time limit on them. As long as Stoptech and Excelerate are still in business, we will continue to offer these packages.

ExcelerateRep is there anyway for you to post side pics of the product? Its hard to get a good feel for any product when you take pictures from one angle. And could there be a package deal that doesnt include pads but brake lines instead? Im a HAWK fan so i stick with them when it comes to stopping.

You want a picture of the side of the rotor? They are OEM spec, I took the picture from the top so you can see the overall quality, machining, the black hub and the differences between slotted, drilled/slotted, and premium blank rotors.

Here's the link to the Universal pic that Stoptech provides of the rotors, it is an angled view:
StopTech SportStop Rotors - Drilled & Slotted - Excelerate Performance - Japanese and European Performance Specialists!!

I can provide a package for you with rotors and lines. Shoot me a PM and we will discuss pricing.

That is a sweet deal on the blanks combo. My dad bought slotted powerslots for his 2011 Pilot. Lol.

Yea the blank deal is a good price for all four rotors and pads. Keep in mind you won't pick up any added performance from the rotors with that package. We've actually sold a couple slotted packages for Pilot's. It's a heavier vehicle, needs better braking.

So anyone have actually tried the blank rotors + stop tech pads combination or even just the stop tech brake pads ? Just wanted to know if stop tech brake pads are indeed a good choice when it comes to brake pads for DD
