Skunk2 Camber arms *squeak squeak*??

Installed my camber arms yesterday. No problems at all........except.

THEY SQUEAK!!

Did i do something wrong? I don't think I could have...the installation was very straight forward. My wheels look correct and identical on both sides. I wanted to know before I got an alignment tomorrow morning.

If they are going to continue to squeak I'll just take the mothers off (its that bad) and get an alignment w/o them. then sell them.

I'd really rather get 10k less on my tires and buy new ones than have this squeak every day.

hmmmmmm...I installed mine on Sunday and no problems here. Are all the mounting bolts torqued correctly?

I do not have a torque wrench... but I am very mechanically inclined. Could I have over-tightened the outer 14mm bolt? That was my first impression but I wasn't sure...

yes .. do that ..
plus make sure u are using the correct moutning locations depending on how much -/+ camber u want ... if the camber kit is close to it's limits it will squeak .. i had that problem as well ...

2 weeks later and today they start squeaking at low low speeds over decent sized bumbs and speedbumps....I'll try tightening them when I get home from work.......Did this fix your problem?

Grease..Grease..Grease. This is a huge factor in squeaking. I greased every moving part in the back finally no more annoying squeak. I have yet to install any suspension products just stock si sedan. Had a squeak in right rear. Gone now used a common lithium based grease. Honda skimps here and there. lol. No but really some cars get more than others in the assembly process. It is fixable, squeaks can't hide.

I noticed no grease whatsoever when I removed my factory stuff, so the thought of adding grease never crossed my mind.

I've got a rattle-can of white lithium grease I used on the window motor gears in my old truck... would this work? Or something not out of an aerosol can?
It's supposedly "water and element proof"

edit: 06blak - i tried that and still... squeak squeak..

It is there somewhere. What if it is a little dwarf in their doing it to piss you off. but really try to grease anything and everything aerosol lube probally will dry out. But yah that grease you used for the windows will work. Don't need much. Just a dab.

I have not but that sounds like an excellent solution... I'll keep errbody updated. I'll do it tomorrow after work (5ish central)...

Man, I hope mine won't squeak when I put mine on. That would be embarrasing. If the grease works, I'll probably put some on before squeaking can even have a chance to occur.

I remember in my '95 Integra, after i put in some new adjustable cambers it started to squeak bad. I took some tips from the old Hond-Tech forums. Get yourself some synthetic or silicone based spray lubricant and spray the rubber bushings on the camber arms real well. Let it soak in and wipe off the excess....my two cents.

could anybody please take a pic of the place that has to be re-tighten?
I paid a friend to do the install, and now I'm getting extremely loud noises..
clunk clunk
looks like my car is from 1959 I already try to spray some WD-40 at the camber arm.. but nothing still nothing!
The sound comes from the back of the car.

I didn't re-tighten. I went and got the white lithium grease in a spray can like Skin441 suggested and the creaking went away. I still have clicking from my Teins in the front tho
