i dont know what to get!?

haha i hate to ask this and sound like the typical noob.. but i just want some opinions i guess..

i want to drop my Si by about 1.5''
i know that there are quite a few kits that give that drop, but for the past 3 years i have driven a lowered car.. and had really stiff spring rates.. so i am wanting a kit that gives a good drop, but doesnt feel like its been dropped.. i know that it might not give me optimal performance, but i just want to keep a nice, fairly smooth ride.
any suggestions? PLEASE

i had sportlines on my last car, and they were decent.. a lot better than my Sprint springs.. (as far as ride quality) ride quality is the biggest thing for me ( i know that it is slightly oxymoronish to say though)

I was going to get some Tein coilovers, but I think that I'm just going to get the HFP suspention setup to avoid all the camber kits and all that mess.

I gave up the extra .4" of drop for dependability and handling... Get the HFP kit. The drop with 225 40 18s is sweet and I never bottom out or drag. Your in the 909, come to the 951 and I'll let you feel my SI with the HFP kit... No camber kits needed.....

My story has been nothing short of a nightmare. Go with the HFP kit

eibach sportlines FTW. Had them on my 99 civic and they imo were flawless for that low of a drop (1.5), just make sure you get cambers.

If you want a good suspension http://www.ksportusa.com/products/kontrolpro.html these are the springs to get. I went to time attack yesterday and met the owner he was running his DC5 Type R came in second was beat out by the hasport Crx. But i believe he said that they have coilovers for the new SI. If you just want to lower your car get the Tein S techs.

From your description, I would say go with the tein s-techs. They will give you around that 1.5" drop that you want.

Sportlines are stiff and produce a fairly hard ride(speaking from experience). S techs would give the drop and more of the comfort level you're looking for.
