Arrow Who's running Motul Break fluid..?

...anyone here using this fluid? i hear its great for performance driving.

from upr.com:

Extreme thermal resistance and stability.
The elevated boiling point of RBF 600 FACTORY LINE (312°c / 594°F) enables effective braking even under the extreme conditions of competition.

I plan to use this once i install the Stainless steel break lines, and Hawk HPS *plus* pads. Sorry to say, but the Si's OEM Break system blows! The breaks feel very mushy..since day 1.

Someone told me that this type of fluid is a little extreme and that I should first try the Motul Dot 5.1.

here's some info on the DOT 5.1 brake fluid: Non-silicone based, long life and 100% synthetic, DOT 5.1 BRAKE FLUID conforms to the highest standards in brake fluid performance. DOT 5.1 is specially designed for Anti-Locking Brake Systems (ABS). With a high dry boiling point of
270°C and a high wet boiling point of 185°C,
DOT 5.1 delivers the best brake performance.

hmmm.. I'm glad that I didn't purchase the DOT 5.1 fluild. I'll definitely be looking to swap the brake fluid with some Motul RBF600 fluid then

Go with both the Motul RBF600 and the ATE Super blue.

Alternate between fluid changes, the different colors help you tell when the flush is completed.. Both are great high temp fluids. I'm using the super blue first so I can tell when all of the factory fluid is flushed, then on the next change I'm using the RBF 600.
I've used the Motul RBF 600 for years for downhill mountain biking to help prevent vapor lock / fluid boiling at altitude..

Same process. See my post above about different colored fluid to aid in the process.
