18.8in wid 48mm offset

i have 18.8in rota d2's with a 48mm offset.. u think if i was to drop it wid eibach sportlines which drop them a good 1.5 inch.. do you think i would get any rubbing issues? plz someone let me know.. ty

I am running 18.8 with a 48 offset, I am told that if I plan to lower my ride I will need 5mm spacers on the fronts. Currently I have no plans to lower my ride all though everyone tells me to drop it.

My fronts will rub without spacers, that is what I am told by Canuck82.

That is one thing I have not looked into just yet, I am undeceided as to drop my car or not.

u'll rub ... not sure how much but in the front u'll rub a bit for sure ... might take u hitting a dip in the road or someting but it will happen.

i always thought spacer pushed the tires out further ... if that's the case u'll rub even more ...

yes, but with a +48, the wheels is further in the fender
so with a 3mm spacers you'll recentered the wheel almost as oem (with 1/2'' more each side)

I have a set of 17x8 +48 but I didnt installed them yet because of winter right here.... I'll probably need a set of 3mm spacers

My buddy just bought spacers for his Evo cause he was rubbing too. They cost him $6 dollers a spacer so $12 bucks for the front. Im not sure who wanted the price but there ya go.

i was running 18x8.50 with a 35 mm offset and the only time it rubbed was with a full car and a big ass dip in road my current setup is 20x8.50 with a 35mm offset and they dont really rub at all so u shouldnt have a problem
