AEM high performance brake pads ??

AEM High Performance Honda/Acura Brake Pads FAQs

AEM High Performance Brake Pads are manufactured in conjunction with O.E. Japanese brake manufacturer Nissin and utilize a unique ceramic-Kevlar fiber compound to provide a higher coefficient of friction that resists fading and reduces stopping distances.

Guaranteed to outperform O.E. pads and fit perfectly every time
Works with O.E. and aftermarket brake systems that use the factory caliper
Non-ferrous metal compound is non-corrosive, won't deteriorate brake components
Light colored dust does not show on wheels
Low squeal properties

for those who don't know ... i found this interesting cuz Nissin is the same company that makes the FG2 calipers ...

are those available? ... any other info? ... won't mind trying them out.

I've heard of them before and I heard that they were very good. I think I also heard that somebody else bought that product from them. I went with Axxis Ultimate's and they are awesome. VERY VERY grippy. They are supposed to be good for 1000 degrees. I've run them pretty hard since I put them and the new rotors on, and they are a very nice upgrade. Back on topic I heard that the AEM's are better than Hawk's ??

Sorry, I meant the Ultimates were better than the AEM's. Actually, come to think of it, I liked the Hawks better too, but the AEM's were pretty good for the street. I'm not saying they're bad, but for Marvie's power levels....AEM FTL.

JC Whitney has what appears to be those same pads....however, they dont seem to have them for newer civics. It stops at 2003.

That matches what I heard, that someone had bought the brakepad product line from AEM. And were squashing it due to competition. (The company who bought it also makes brake pads)
