Pulling and grinding noises
I have read this in other post but i would like to repoen the discussion because i could find a good answer and i think i have more evidence for the question. I have tein SS. I put them in, drove around for about a month. Durring that time i adjusted the ride hight until i was happy. The car always drove straigt. I went to get and alignment. After the alignment the car had a slight pull to the left. I put up with it for 6 months. I then noticed that the ride hight was off. So i leveled it out and now the it pulls hard to the left. I, like many others with aftermaket suspentions, have a caster problem in the front with the left having more caster than the right. When the car is on jack stands the steering arms are at different angles in relation to the ground. The left arm is more parallel to the ground than the right. If the caster is off but the ride hights are the same at both front corners this would cause the difference in stering arm angle. I think this difference in angle is what is causing the pulling. So is there any caster adjustment kit out there that any one knows about or should i just keep going in and out of the shop with me adjusting the ride hight and them adjusting the caster, camber and toe until we get it right?
As for the grinding noises. The suspension grinds whenever the wheel is at a large angle or the wheel is at a small angle and hits a bump. When i installed the suspension i, my friend, poped off the bering cap and sent berings everywhere. I found all but one. So i had to put it back in with the missing bering. The missing bering is on the right side but both sides make the grinding noise. Any thoughts from anyone.
