Brake Pads Wear:

Please need some hlep with this info.
Does anybody change their brake pads due to the regular wear and tear?
If yes, what's the mileage on your car when you changed your pads?

Recently has some issues with my brake. It squeaks so loud. When I stop and try to look inside and around the brake, can't see anything has contact with the brake.
Thanks A lot

Are you talking SI or R18, because they have different front brakes. My wifes 06 EX needed front pads at 16,000 miles. My SI had 40% left at 27,000 miles both the front and back were worn exactly the same. I drive the SI harder than she drives the EX but the EX is Auto, I think the auto comes in to play here as well as the brake size.

Mine's R18. When I look at the brake pads, it still has a lot of materials left. So I was thinking the little stone on the road accidentally got into the space between the pads and rotor. It was fine the next day when I drove to work until now. so Squeaking sound or anything. Anyway, thanks for the reply. I will still keep an eye on it.
