i dont think a spring compressor is necessary, i didn't use one when i installed mine

nope, no spring compressor, most of the new cars don't dome with long springs like older cars did, thus not that great of a pressure to kill someone, but thats just my opinion, i say get it to be on the safe side.

tru stories....took my springs off without one....just wrapped a blanket around whole thig and zipped nut off with air tool

true about the spring compressors i've done a few spring upgrades on newish cars and none needed to be compressed. pretty much let the upper bolt do its job then put some weight on it with a friend to put the new spring back on
