It's fine to install the camber kits myself and have the shop adjust the alignment/camber?

Will a place like Les Schwab align and adjust camber?

yeah, that's what I always do. Just install it yourself...try to gauge it to where it matches up with stock length and head to the alignment shop to get corrected.

how do you 'gauge it' to look like stock?

Before I got my alignment I just did lots of trial and error. I started by making the camber arms the same length as stock, then threaded the end out about 4 turns. Put it together, mounted the rear tires, and tried to match the rear camber with the front camber. Once they appeared identical(after several tries) I took the rear apart again and screwed the camber arm in 1 turn each side.
Just make sure you do the same on both sides.

But, taking it to an alignment shop and let them dial it in perfectly is alot easier.

Do you have to get it close perfect camber? Or can I just take it right into an alignment shop right after I install them..
Sounds like a lot of time, adjusting and taking off/putting on the tires...

Hello,

I just lowered mine today with Tein S-tech Springs. Skunk2 camber kits are on their way - just waiting for these to settle.

Damn, this ride definitely needs wheels..........

You'll be fine taking it right to an alignment shop. I wasn't sure how long it was going to be before I could drop my car off, so I tried to dial it in as close to stock as possible.
I had the chance to take it in the next day. Had I known that when I put them on I wouldn't have gone through all that trouble.

I just got my Eibach Pro-Kit Springs yesterday from UPS.

Yeah, they're dirty because they're used but they were only used for 6 months & I got them for $76.00 and $20.00 shipped. Jay3151 is gonna help me install them tomorrow.
