Skunk2 springs question.

Just got my skunk2 springs. they didn't come with any directions which is not a problem. just curious how much the bumpstops should be cut if any at all. if they need to be, do you cut just the fronts or both front and rear? thanks in advance.

Hey Just talked to a rep from Skunk2 about there springs this is what they had to say:

Thank you for your interest in our products. We are having issues with all our 06 si parts. I would say go with Einach. Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact me. I'm always here to help. Thank you for being a customer and Happy New Year.

So if someone could tell me what you think or if you have heard other wise. This kind of worries me because that also means that there is a problem with their composite intake manifold. PLEASE DON"T LET THIS THEARD GET INTO A HEATED ARGUMENT OVER WHAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH OUR SI'S!!!!! :)

Wow! That's an odd reply from Skunk2. I'm surprised Charles wasn't more explicit. He's very candid, but that answer raises an awful lot of questions - ALL 06 Si parts? How can that be?

That's what I'm saying. How could SKUNK2 "quality parts" put out something that they can't even back up and inturn are refering another brand. Very very scary if you think about it. As to what exactly is wrong with the springs I don't know, but I replied back asking. So we'll see, I'll keep you guys and gals posted. I also asked about the intake no reply to that either. When I had originally e-mailed him I just asked for the manufacture drop specs. and that is what I got back. Anyone else if the inside scoop please post info up. THIS IS A VERY VERY CRUCTIAL TIME FOR US 8TH GENS!!!!!!!!

OK, so, final word.

Tai,

We are sorry for some of things you might hear and/or read on the forums...
we recently let Mr. Farrell go. He is obviously taking this change in
employment hard. He is/has taken every possible opportunity to discredit
Skunk2 and their products.

Please do not get caught up in this drama, we are dealing w/ Mr. Farrell
accordingly.

Kind Regards,
Robert Green
