the valving stack inside the shock and strut is what will be different. To handle the different weight loads. Which are small somehow the si sedan is under a 100 pounds heavier than the coupe. There will be difference if there wasn't it would be out. Some people just don't stand around and all of a sudden go crap this will work too put it on the shelves. Testing is involved, not much but it is done. Even H&R is coming out with a si sedan specific sport spring over the standard sedan and si coupe spring.

Looks like I am going to buy the SI coupe HFP kit and put it on since no one else wants to. 60 pounds difference is nothing. I put progress springs on and its just too low. So I will order the HFP coupe Suspension and let you all know how awesome it is.

There is a 60 pound difference but also a difference in front to rear percentage. I dont remember what the difference is. I think a few percentage points. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

well, the hfp for the si coupe has been done on the sedan. it doesn't mean that is it the correct kit, but it has been done. i'll just wait for the hfp si sedan kit to come out. some guy at clubsi did it. here is the link:

This is really bugging me that they haven't come out with the HFP suspension for the Si sedan. Well, it April now and the FA5 has been out since December.

We need information on it. If it doesn't come out soon I may have to go a different route.

Thanks Woody! I just placed an order with my local Honda dealer and was told it would be here on Monday. It was $800 which was more than I was wanting to spend, but what the hell, it's only money. I plan to have Honda do the install for me and I'm not sure how much the install will cost yet. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the 1" drop and the tighter handling.

UPDATE: I contacted collegehillshonda.com and they're asking $600 for the kit + $65 shipping. Much better deal!

UPDATE2: My local Honda dealer agreed to match the $665 price being offered by collegehillshonda.com. SWEET!
