Question Roll Call! Who with a non-Si has upgraded the rear anti sway bar? Si bar fits LX?

Who here has upgraded their rear anti sway bar from the puny 11mm stock piece to the Si 17mm bar? Or 22mm Progress sway bar?
-Aren't the rear ends (regarding the sway bar) the same?
I drive an LX, I understand that I have drum brakes in the rear but I was trying to install the Si sway bar with bushings, bushings holders and brackets. I came across some clearance problems, stock axle-back and upper control arms were rubbing.
- - Who has installed a larger diameter rear anti-sway bar on their DX or LX Civic?

I did the progress bar with no problems other than a bushing bracket upgrade.

Oh. Not to threadjack or anything. But to those who used the Progress rear sway bars.. which bushing brackets did you guys upgrade to? The Si bushing brackets? Or is there an aftermarket alternative you guys used? Thanks for the reply and sorry to threadjack.
Oh and just a side note.. I think I read somewhere that if you have clearance issues.. you probably put the bar on upside down.. so flip it around and try it again.. lol I might be wrong though..

Stupid question maybe, but what's wrong with the brackets that Progress provides?

Whoops..maybe it's not the brackets I was referring to.. but the endlinks? From the pictures I've seen of the complete sway bar package.. it doesnt come with endlinks.. and I was just wondering if there was an aftermarket alternative or if those endlinks even make a difference. My bad.

Oh okay, I get it :) Yeah, I just have the 22mm swaybar and the OEM endlinks. I didn't really think the aftermarket endlinks were critical since the endlink only undergoes tension and compression, which a thicker endlink won't really change IMO. If the balljoints at the ends of the links ever decide to go, THEN I'll go aftermarket

you are correct on needing all the si hardware brackets bushings and sway of course.. if you go progress it comes with a adapter to hook up to the dx/lx/ex brackets no xtra hardware needed.. i had the si front and rear, and recently swapped the rear for the progress sway.. i recommended this to any r18 owner over the stock si bar.. i dont have upgraded endlinks, no problems so far

I just installed my si rear sway bar and I love it!! The rear end feel stiffer. I was driving the car with no rear sway bar for 2 days- feels more comfortable, or at least follows the surface of the road better with no bar in the back. Only problem (no bar) is with the rear end swaying when performing quick lane changes. Now all I need to do is take off my stock rims and put my 18" Volks back on then go for a spin.
-Do you feel more of a difference with upgraded wheels tires? (225/40/18)
I don't know why I couldn't do it the day earlier. I simply started to install the sway bar today and everything was falling into place. 11mm (hollow?) to 17mm solid. You really think the 22mm sway bar is that much better? Does your car oversteer more than you would like? How much for the Progress rear sway... I just put the Si bar on and you're telling me to go with the Progress sway bar because its that much better
not what I wanted to hear. I am happy with my mod then someone tells me there is a better mod. Everything came out to $70 my family and friends are going to think I'm crazy if I change it again. How much would you say the Si front sway bar helped you?:) Is there an aftermarket front sway bar?

I have R18 Lx which would you guys recommend Progress sway bar or SI sway bar for Rear?
Also as for front sway bar is it necessary to change it over stock LX? any difference.
