Thanks.
My car is dropped on Sportlines and it handles very well maybe a dumped car wouldn't yea hfp is nice but the car looks way better at a lower ride height.

I can throw on some Skunk2 sport shock/struts then i will still be lower and handle even better.

as far as looks go, the car definitely got lowered since the gap is now 2 finger gaps, while before it was 3. dont really see it though.
so in closing. id say this kit is great if you dont have the cash to get adjustable or are waiting for more options ('cough' KONI) to come out. but be warned. this suspension is really unforgiving. if you go over bumps a lot or have roads that have a lot of uneven or bumpy areas get ready to test your body. because it seems to me this suspension just make you feel all of it.
will update next week when i get my progress sway bar with new brackets and volk ce28n's in.
wonder how much lighter wheels can do for me.
Wow, thanks for the review. This has probably been one of the most helpful ones. I just didn't know how stiff this is and now I can get an idea on it.

The only reason i might .. key word might . is the ride height. It improved handling drastically, but it just still a little high for me. I've only had it for 3000 miles. got on my last oil change and just did my oil change like 2 days ago. But its perfect though. I might keep them and use the struts and just put springs in. Its an amazing kit, but a lil high for me still. why are you interested? is anyone?

You should still post on the for sale threads still. Mention that you still have them on the car, therefore no pics. You'll have a better response there than here. I've seen you post the same ole sale on other HFP threads. That's thread jacking, yo! lol

Anyways, back on topic. I decided against getting this kit after a few reviews I've read. This might be a bit too harsh for the roads that I normally go especially to work. I'll save up for another car with very sporty stiff suspension for spirited driving days, the weekends and tracks. I'll keep the stock suspension for daily driving as it gives a perfect balance of handling and the less harshness.

I have been living in TN for 16 yrs. Yes there are some really nice mountains, and the roads are nice and not bumpy at all, but we are the #1 State on road construction.

I have never gone a week without seeing some type of road construction ever since I moved here. Tennessee is working on roads ALL the time.

Just got my HFP kit installed today and it is much better than I expected it to be. The car hugs the road around corners like its nobody's business (not even yours!). You can take corners so much faster, and it feels as though theres almost no body roll (there is, obviously, but relative to the stock si suspension its like night and day). I havn't driven it TOO hard yet, but from what I've experienced so far, its a much firmer and better suspension than stock.

I'd like to point out also that the ride is really not that more harsh on normal roads during everyday driving than the HFP kit. At first, I hardly noticed a difference. Sure little bumps are slightly more jarring, but its subtle, and in a good way. Its not like driving will cause your teeth to fall out. I personally like the feel a lot more than stock, and am amazed that this wasn't the stock suspension. It truly is the perfect midpoint between comfort and performance. And if you are just buying it so that you can tell your friend's that you have a suspension kit, at least now you can without sacrificing your every day comfort (you pretentious bastard).

Also, while this is strictly a subjective point (although I guess the previous two were also completely subjective), the drop is perfect. One of my friends said it made the look of the car so much smoother, as it filled in just enough of the gap in the wheel well to look nice, without looking too rice (no offense to those who like lower cars, or rice). It looks really nice with the stock rims.

Anyway, just wanted to say, another happy customer, and for the money, its hard to beat.

Lowering the car is not rice it makes it look 10 times more aggressive and fills the fender gap the way it should look. If you meant an older civic with bondo for a quarter panel, a Sunoco sticker, and slammed 3'' yea thats rice.

It was $660 shipped from College Hills Honda, plus $322 for install (from dealership), plus $70 for alignment. I know I probably could have gotten a better price if I shopped around and did the install myself or went somewhere other than the dealership, but to be totally honest, I don't know if I trust installs to other places except the dealership (plus I get warranty on the install this way as well), and I definitely didn't trust myself enough with installing a new suspension (I'd probably do the installs myself on such things as intake, exhaust, and headers install when/if I ever get the money to do them, but suspension was a bit out of my league)

Overall though, not a bad price, seeing as how if you get the suspension kit from the dealership when you get the car, it costs $1100 (according to the pamphlet by the SI), so I saved 50 bucks (or only 48 bucks for those of you who did the math and are calling me a liar)!

I'd rather have peace of mind on the install and trust from the company I am purchasing the product from for a little extra cash, than go the cheaper route and possibly have problems in the future. But thats just me.

Took a while to save up enough money to get this, but I'd say it was well worth it!

PS, you are right about the rice comment, I was out of line! For the love of god I'm sorry!!!
