SVB is Si, SVA is non-Si... just clarifying!

He's still making a profit at 1500.

MSRP of HFP is 800
Fogs are ~350

If you order yourself online, you can get:
HFP 600
fogs ~280

Order the parts yourself and give a shop $ to install. Fogs + HFP is at MOST 4 hours of labor. If you pay for anything more than that, dont' go to that shop. 4 hours of labor at most is around $380. And you can go as low as 300. If it's 3 hours of labor it's even less, but it's more of a 4 hour job.

Coilovers would not increace the performance? I thought it would actually be better than the hfp? Oh btw, I would love 45 miles of twisty road every day, I think I would enjoy going to work! lol

The entire HFP kit is more than just the suspension kit and fogs. It actually doesn't include the fogs but it does include the front lip spoiler and side skirts the suspension kit and the HFP muffler. For all that and the fogs $1500.00 is a BARGAIN and if that includes installation than I would jump on it in a heartbeat.

I wonder...since this is an option from the dealer does your car still count as stock for the purposes of autox .

I'm not sure about this, but I think I read somewhere it doesn't because its dealer installed, not factory installed. (even though its Honda Factory Performance)

I'm inclined to believe that you are right on that. It's still an appealing option though.

Right...meaning that this is NOT stock for the purposes of autox.

Yes, I'd be inclined to agree that it would not be considered "stock".

if your looking to stiffen up your ride a bit and not sacrifice your ride quality, i would have to say go for it. loved it when i had it on the ex early last year but for the si, im waiting to see what aftermarket support will have in store for us.

OK guys sorry to open this dead thread back up, but i figured my Q would fit here and its better than creating a new thread and wasting BW. I'm thinking about the suspension for my EX, but I live in a rural area. I like the drop (~1" is good) and I like how it improves handling. But my concern is the ride. I live in a rural area with somewhat rough roads. (they call it "tar and chip"- they pave it with tar and then dump gravel on it to make it stick and "last longer" which makes for a somewhat bumpy ride. But, about 75% of my driving is on normal paved roads so I am considering this kit. Overall, I just need more reviews about the ride from people who have the kit. All i am worried about is the ride, nothing else. Thanks and sorry for being so freaking long winded.

I have the HFP Springs and they actually not only improved handeling but also the ride quality. With the Stock Springs my Si has been very bouncy and now with the HFP Springs the car is a lot more stable and a lot less bouncy and it hugs the corners like it were on rails. 100% improvement.
It is just a tad over an inch lower but that is plenty especially if you live like me in areas with a lot of uneven roads and chuck holes
