noise after 300 miles w/ new suspension

SO i finshed my suspension install on my si a few weeks back. It consists of the HFP suspension kit, progress rear sway bar, hotchkis end links (both front and rear), megan front lower tie brace and rear lower tie brace, tanabe lower under brace, and the carbing front strut bar. Install was a snap but after about 300 or so miles on it i'm getting a loose knocking noise coming from what sounds like the rear of the car. it sounds like almost as if something is loose like a suspension component. it only occurs when i go over a off camber bump or say like entering driveways at a slow speed or even when the car goes over a bump on one side. so this makes me believe that its a noise created by torsional or slight twisting of the chassis. I went underneth again and double checked all my nuts and bolts that were taken off during the assembly. to my findings everything was tightened with the exception of the 4 rear bolts to the tanabe piece that were not as tight as everything else, though i gave them a little more to tighten them up. so i did a once over and took it out again and the noise is still there...any ideas what it could be???

check your endlinks and bushing brackets.

if you have helm joints on your endlinks, clunking is expected depending on the quality of the ball joint.

the endlinks aren't heim type joints...the are similar to stock units...in a sense they are a ball joint type

New Greasable Ball Joint End Links

^^^they are excatly like the ones in the 3rd pic....

process of elimination then. remove one of the endlinks from the bar and
go over that bump or curve that was predetermined to make that noise.

if the noise is still there, it might be your struts, spring not seated correctly, etc.

Did you adjust the Hotchkis links to match the stock ones? Front and back are a different length and offset. How about grease on the Progress bar bushings?

had the same problem on my old ex after installing the hfp suspension and progress rear sway. would most likely be the sway bar since it isnt greased up and the grease that came with the bar wasnt enough. white lithium grease worked for me, just gease up the busings well and you'll be good to go! if not check the install on the rear struts...

1) Grease the sway bar mounts or wrap them in teflon tape.

2) Spray the rear spring seats top & bottom with lithium grease.

My two cents...
