HFP suspension

$1500 for parts and install at the dealership for the HFP suspension, what do you think? (I'm not mechanically inclined)

Holy cow that's expensive!

If you're gonna spend that much grab some coilovers.

Why would you want aftermarket coil overs in place of a professional kit like the HFP? My HFP kit was worth every penny.

I got it for $600 from College Hills Honda. That's $900 for installation! Find a buddy that has better mechanical skills than you and he'll probably do most of the work. That what I did.

I have to agree.... $1,500 is a rip off. Get it from College Hills and then pay a buddy $100 to do it.

I wish I had the tools to do stuff like that myself.

How much does a good jack and jackstands usually run for?

You'll also need a spring compressor, but you can usually rent those for a few bucks at an Autozone or whatever.

Also, for a semi-tutorial on how to install the suspension, College Hills Honda has a video up that runs through the basics.

Thanks!

also, just wondering if this makes any difference but down the road i want to get some 18's and i'm wondering if this makes any difference in what type of springs/suspension i should be looking at...

Get the HFP kit. It comes with preassembled front struts with tops, rear shocks, rear springs and a hardware kit with all new nuts and bolts. $550 Flagstaff Honda.

what type of driving difference will i recieve from the HFP kit compared to the ride of the tein springs?

also...i would guess that the HFP kit will keep my chamber neutral as to how the tein s tech springs will produce a negative chamber so i would need a chamber kit...true or false?

...i drive my car around 350 miles per week so what is going to be my best bet as far as driveability and comfort...and anything else!?!

k just wondering b/c i dont know if i should get the hfp or tein with my rim set up being it is a 17x8 35mm offset with 225/45/17.

with that offset it puts the wheels almost even with the wheelwell but just slightly in maybe 1/4 inch in at the most and i dont want to lower it to where i will be rubbing.any suggestions?

might want to go with the hfp suspension then. a guy had the same wheels (5zigen proracer gn+) in 18x7.5 with an offset of 35 and he had issues with rubbing since he was dropped on s techs
