Pictures of my Beaks lower tie bar install.

This is NOT a DIY thread. Just a few pictures I took.

Nor do I care that this part isn't functional. I, personally, like the lower tie bar looks.

My Beaks lower tie bar arrived yesterday afternoon.

I do plan to get a nicer jack, but the stock tire jack did the job. (Took about 5 minutes though.) Jacked the car up on jack stands.

Got the "diffuser" off, I also had to remove my PW:JDM tow hook.

My dad got up under the car and helped out a little so I could take a few pictures.

Once again my dad going back behind my work doing some tighening the bracket bolts after installing the bar to the subframe.

Installed!

Appreciate the help from my dad. Working on the Civic is always a good father and son bonding time. (Plus he has thousands of tools just about everything you can think of, besides a JACK.)

Welcome to beaks club my freind. I love my beaks rear tie mines black and i have a pic on hea somewhere of it. I always get complements on it and im sure it helps someway in making the rear more rigid, well it cant make it any worse.

Will do... You have to be a real good distance to see it without being close up. Surprised these pictures turned out as good as they did, considering they are from my Blackberry phone. I'll take another one in just a few and post it up here.

$165 shipped from PW:JDM. They had like a 5% off special last friday when I ordered it, not sure if they still have the promotion going on.

Tried to get pictures this weekend from a distance with my phone, didnt work so well because of the shadow under the car. Taking some with my actual camera today.

How did you take out the rear diffuser? I know there are screws but where the tow hook is there is something diffrent there.

I had to take my tow hook off to remove it, but I dont believe it was anything there holding it on. After the pushtabs are removed it should pop on off.

I thought about cutting it out but I was to impatient and wanted to get it on and see how it looked. I could still go back and mark the plastic piece and cut it out. I should do that.

Yeah I'm sure it will. When I took mine off it had gravel and few leaves stuck under it. My girl is getting a pink Beaks bar soon so I might take on that project. She has a 2011 LX she bought last Feburary and shes JUST now getting the mod bug. She wants Motegi MR121, pink beaks bar, pink PW:JDM tow hook and punk chrome lugs.
