Tein H-tech anyone has them?

They give you like a 1 inch drop from both sides and the springs are gold looking instead of green. i am thinking about buying them just to be safer on my drop..

I'm going to bump this

H techs will give better stability and a slight drop, i'm also interested in these. I dont want to go low. I would however like a little more sure footed handled around the tennessee backwoods without having a camer kit or blown struts

I want to see a pic of the htechs installed on a civic. I think it would be a nice drop. I had them on my tc and loved them

TEIN Hi Tecs

I have the Tein Hi Tec - 1 inch drop and like the slight improvement in handling and nice appearance with no tire rubbing . I also upgraded to OZ Ultraleggeras 18 x 8 with P225/40/18 Falkens . I am trying to attach pics but having technical difficulties . If you scroll down the suspension threads mine is the one titled TEIN Hi Tec OZ wheels .

panzer where did you get your oz wheels from. Did you by chance check the weight on them to see if they list the proper weight. Or see if your setup weighs the same as ur stock wheel/tire combo. I want these wheels, but am searching for a good price.

OZ wheels

Got mine from friend at Big O . He matched Tire Racks price of $330.00 per wheel - 18 x 8 in matte black powder coat . They weigh in at a very light for 18 x 8 at 17.5 lbs. each . You can save a bit more weight switching to Falken Ziex - 3 lbs. each lighter than stock Michelins . The car really accelerates quicker - more responsive .

ive personally installed and rode in/driven both stech and htech

the HTechs do sit higher, and ride a little softer. It's not a worthy upgrade, IMO.

The STechs do sit lower, and IMO sit well. The car handles a little better, but looks a lot better.

If anyone wants a ride in a 07 Civic Si with STechs stop by the shop, and ask for Alex

The Ziex tires are "ok". Their design make them look thinner than other tires of the same size. They're a good all around tire, but I would get something else for performance.

if they creak, they might have been installed wrong. Check to make sure the rubber perches are properly installed.

I got the H-Techs and i havent had ANY problems with it...its a very smooooooth ride...a lil bit smoother than stock personally...and you arent slammed and have to ride super slow over bumps.....i hit a speed hump that they put into the street over night going about 65 mph...caught air...landeed perfectly...no rubbing or anything...i was scared but then i was super satisfied to know that these springs alone can with hold that amount of spring back from the speed hump....so +1 for H-Tech springs.

Wow , speed bump proof at 65 MPH I knew I made the right choice getting HI TECS ! Get these springs if you want a hassle free upgrade or pay some jerkoff like boost head in hayward to install a camber kit with a lower drop its totally up to you .
