Question Where do you place the floor jack/stands when doing springs?

I'm getting ready to install some S-techs and i'm not sure where to place the floor jack and jack stands. Does anybody have pics of proper location for the front/rear? I was also wondering what the best way to load the suspension with the jack is. Can I just put a rag over the jacking pad and jack up the rotor?

do not jack up the motor. if you look under the car thrue the front in the middle you can see a spot to lift it same thing with the rear of the car.

check the manual. I used the spots behing the front wheels and in front of the rears. I think the spots are also marked on the jack that comes with the car.

Thanks for the replies, I have used the factor jack points on the sides. I thought there was a place to jack from the front/rear of the car. And what's the best spot for the jackstands, the spots where the factory jack lifts seem weak. I bought the helms manual, but only the Si supplement and it references the civic manual for the proper locations.

Factory jack point do seem weak but I had no problem using them. The front and rear "middle" jack points are marked by an arrow. If you get down there and take a peek I know the front one is about a foot away from the front of the car. The arrow is molded in the plastic black peice. Cant remember about the rear jack point.

Maybe they figured you'd only be using them once or twice, like on the side of a freeway changing a flat - not installing parts every other weekend.

you guys using the rails near the side of the car? if so, make yourself an
adapter out of wood with a slit cut down the center. that'll prevent
the rail from bending like that.
