Bump stop trimming for eibach pro kit??

Is it necessary??I install the kit, all seems to be ok.
But i don't trim the rear bump stop.
Is it ok like that, or the car will have bad handling??
it recommend to trim 50 mm, so about 2 inch. it's a lot for a 1 inch drop....
