SI vs HFP suspension poll

ok i have a 2006 black ex stock. i was thinking of starting off with suspension but I don't want anything to void my service/powertrain warranties.

(i'll throw in the option of tien ss coilovers in just in case some1 doesn't really care about the warranties)

so the question is SI set up or HFP kit? and why?

you wouldnt get a drop from an si set up, just stiffer springs. and with the hfp kit you'll get even stiffer springs with at most an inch drop but i would say it only really drops .8

are you looking to improve the car in handling or looks. if it were handling w/o the looks just go for someones stock si suspension, if your going for looks you might as well go with some springs.

I have been under the impression that the SI is lower than the DX/LX/EX, and the SI HFP suspension kit lowers the Si 1 inch. SO if you put the Si HFP suspension you would have close a 1.5 inch drop compared to where you sit now.

as far as i know the si doesnt sit any lower than an ex/lx/dx does. an there is a hfp suspension for both the si and ex/lx/dx, and from what i know the hfp suspension for both car lowers it about an inch and the only difference between the two would be the springs rates.

u guys are basically rite, si's and ex/lx/dx have the same ride height. i compaired earlier, but i think performance, and comfort is more important. theres too many rough roads and speed bumps and dipped (or whatever u call it) driveways here.

2fast4u hurry and start poll!!

If you get the oem Si suspension you will raise your car since it has stiffer spring rates and your car is lighter than the Si. Go get the HFP suspension. Part # 08W60-SVA-100
You will regret getting the oem suspension. HFP suspension FTW!

Here's your drop with HFP:

It's firmer, but it leans very little in curves. I'm glad I bought it.
