Tanabe vs Progress vs HFP

I want to lower my 06 Si. Does anyone know if I'll get better handling with the Progress springs, the HFP kit, or Tanabe DF210 or GF210 springs? Also which will give a firmer ride. And does anyone know the spring rates for any of those springs? Thanks for the help.

I don't know how many times I have had to say this but the HFP kit includes springs and struts.

For your answer, the HFP kit should handle better because it includes upgraded struts. The other two are just springs.

HFP is the way to go.
The HFP kit also includes all new hardware as some of the nuts used in the suspension assembly are pinch nuts and are made to be replaced after use.
Be careful of Tanabe.

Since the other two commented on both Tanabe and HFP, I'll just say that the spring rates for Progress springs can be a little stiff for some folks.

My vote is for the HFPs in all honesty.

i have the hfp kit and i love it, but im thinking of putting comptech springs on it while keeping the HFP struts to lower the ride height a little more. it handles great but i dont like that much of a wheel gap

The HFP is awesome. The ride is very stiff and nimble. I can't speak for the others mentioned, but I'm very satisfied with the HFP kit.

Thanks for all the help. What problems have people had with Tanabe?

Stiff and nimble...I agree! I like mine. I think most lowering springs tend to be a progressive rate spring which I'm sure is not the case with the HFP kit. I wonder how that effects handling.

tanabe df210

with these springs.. i can tell you turning is soo much better smoother and faster.. it is stiffer but better in bumps than stocks.. 10 - 20%++ it is true.. from 3 fingers gaps.. to 1.5 fingers gap from the fender after drop.. i wouldnt go with what everyone has in this site.. cause they are just going with based on what they see.. study and reach out from turners before going with yours drop.. cause thats what i did.. before anything... i thought about eibach tien etc.. but i didnt wanna just go with what everyone has in this site.. when i know and knew there was alway something better or even:eyebr ows:
