Exclamation Cut bump stops for Eibach Sportline install?? PLEASE HELP!

I am in the process of putting a set of Sportlines on my 06 SI. The instructions say to cut 40MM off the bump stops. Is this nessecary?? Also, where are the bump stops?? Are they one the front and back, and if so do I cut both. Pics would be AWESOME if someones got them. Thanks in advance for the help!

Let me show yas my Showas (shock thread)

Read the top of it carefully.

If I were you, I'd remove no more than 12-15mm (about 1/2 an inch)... The bumpstop is actually quite progressive on the shocks and will act as additional spring rate.

I installed the sportlines. I cut mine down. There was a guide in my box that I used to measure off of, a paper templet. I think if you dont cut them they bottem out, but dont quote me on that.

Would a regular kitchen knife cut through it or would a saw be more adequate?

It's not that hard, just do it. You'll find something around to cut it. I used a box cutter.
