HFP Suspension Kit...auto vs manual???

Hey everyone,

I was on the collegehillshonda.com site and was interested in the HFP suspension kit. I noticed that the kit for a manual 4 door is on sale for $480 but the automatic is $600.

What's the difference in suspension between the two? What difference does the transmission make to the suspension? Anyone know?

i gave them a call but the guy i was talking to just said that yes there was a difference.

They told me the front springs are stiffer on the automatics coilovers to compensate for the extra weight of the auto tranny.

Interesting. I wonder if the auto tranny is that much different in weight...hrmm...should i take the $120 chance.
