How much did you guys pay for the installation of your suspensions?

i visited a body shop where my friend's friend works and i was planning to install some new springs there. i talked to the guy and he said it'll cost $200 flat ($50 an hour) so i left my keys and i called my friend and got a ride to his house. 15 minutes later i get a call from them saying that it'll cost $410 due to labor and blah blah blah so i told them **** YOU and picked up my ride.

How much did you guys pay for the installation of your suspensions because i'm dam sure that it did cost anything near $410.

i paid 125.00 for the rental of the spring compressor for
which Can Tire re-credited meaning i paid 0.00

the install went well, and wasnt that hard at all, just
need to pay attention and take your sweet time.

normally i would have taken it in but....400.00 saved ftw!

it did take several hours to do the install and with a few
tools including a spring-compressor, a couple of open/closed-end
sockets, allen key (front struts/top nut), etc...

i think it was well worth my efforts, then spent another 80.00
to have the wheel alignment done at Honda

Springs aren't that hard to install. Just get a friend to help you and pay him/her back with a pizza or something

for the spring its easy and cheaper, but fot the whole suspension, atleast 4 to 5 hrs and you also need to get you car align afterwards, and atleast $40-80 per side on the shop.

EDITer side/ per hour.

If anyone is paying more than $40 per side to align then they are getting rapped.

An alignment should not cost more than $80 for the entire car. Honda charges $80 for alignment.
