Get some pizza and invite your friends over, then after pizza have them sit in car. Now that they are fat, voila!

That was me when I was trying to get the OEM exhaust manifold out of that tiny a$$ opening. All the suspension installs have been a breeze for me so far. Sh#t the last spring swap took less then 1.5 hrs.

Yeah, first time for the suspension, I was all **** **** **** until I found the off set wrench in the tool box.

The header was a ******* bitch of a ******* time. Took me 4.5 hours to get the exhaust and header off, 30 minutes to put it on. (of course there was a lot of championship playoff football to watch at the same time).

Right now I kind of try do any installs on Fri. night or Saturday so as not to interfere with my NASCAR. When Football season comes around it's pretty much spend the whole day in front of the 60" LCD watching NFL Sunday Ticket. My wife loves Sundays, not.

Yeah got to love how it takes forever to get all the OEM parts off but the actual part install is a breeze when it comes to the RH.

My love for new mods runs deeper than almost all sporting events. I love racing, but making my car faster is way more fun ... plus there is always DVR.

I hear you Sirbelch. I've been up until 5AM installing a Progress adjustable rear sway on my old EP3. The sh#t that was driving me crazy was the angle the new endlinks were @. I must have spent @ least an hour just playing with the angle of the endlinks.

Sorry no DVR for me because since I don't have a landline DirecTv won't let me have one.

On my GSR I was up until 5am doing a header/high flow cat/exhaust in stall. I broke one exhaust stud, the exhaust hung down about 8 inches and the cat bolts wouldn't come off. I started at 12am though. Went to sleep, bought bolts to connect the header to the cat. Then it took me a week to get the exhaust to not hang down. It was so worth it though.

I just finished installing Si springs and shocks on my LX for free. Wasn't hard, but it took around 4 hours to do the job. I don't like to rush.

For the front, it should take longer to take off the wheels than to install camber bolts.

The rear, took be about an hour, but I already had the rest of the suspension out. I was taking my time in puting it together and making sure there was plenty of lube.

[quote=Nomar06;360787]If anyone is paying more than $40 per side to align then they are getting rapped.

An alignment should not cost more than $80 for the entire car. Honda charges $80 for alignment.[/QUO

Shops charge $275-300 around here for springs/shocks. It's a shame because they usually do it in 1-1.5hrs but they go by the book or some will tell you: "1hr/axle" which is a rip-off. I finally found a guy that had just opened a new shop a few blocks from me (in the midst of a residential neighborhood!) and was hungry for business. It was over a year ago. He didn't even look like he had a full set of tools and was in the shop by himself. The shop was empty inside & outside and he only had 1 working lift. He agreed to do it for $150 after he said $200 and I was walking out. That was for installing new springs for my GSR's GC coilovers but everything had to be taken out anyway. It took him exactly 1.5hrs and I did help him a little because he seemed a little lost when he was putting the coilovers and top mount back together.. he was staring at a washer wondering where it went.. He actually worked pretty fast (he was well rested because he had no business - he had just opened the week before). I was watching him to make sure he did everything right and tighten each bolt. I could have done it with a friend but I have back & neck problems and didn't want to stick my friend to do it all by himself. Actually after you have watched someone do it, you can easily do it yourself. Everything is pretty much straight forward but sometimes an extra pair of hands is helpful for pushing those LCA's & hubs back into place when putting everything back. I have been through 5 suspensions on my GSR and after watching a guy do it the first or 2nd time I did the next 2 myself with the help of a friend who had better tools than me, hehe

BTW, around here they charge $90-100 for custom alignments.
