Painting Calipers and Drums...
hey guys.. i got an ASM (silver) Lx and I'm thinking of painting the calipers and probably the drums this week.. Should i paint the calipers (front) red or silver? And also should I go ahead paint the brake drums also.. I mean if I go with red, I would just paint the front calipers and prolly leave them rear drums black (stock) or if i go with silver, it would match the color and i would paint the front silver and rear drum breaks.. Thanks guys..

I believe that the "Si" models only came with 4-wheel disc brakes and all DX/LX/EX models came with drums on the rear. kinda sucks but ill be modifiying mine to 4w-Discs hopefully soon if not in the spring. |

i did mine the other day. i used the duplicolor caliper kit. i did mine red and stuck a honda logo on it from grfxp. it came out nice
![]() don't paint your drums btw.. omg i've seen painted drums before and that shit looks dumb. also i feel like ppl who spray their calipers red have bad results. i see a lot of ppl with chips in their calipers or fading or dirt. the finish from the duplicolor is very glossy and waterproof. i washed my car the next day and the water was beading off the paint. i got the caliper kit at autozone.
