Brake Fluid, prefrences?

Sup everyone, time for another question. I recently found out in my automotive
classes that my FA5 needs new my brake fluid, and didnt realy know what to get.
One guy said that penzoil was good, but i'm not putten that in my car, so the
question is what do you prefer? Performance brads, personal preference, or just straight from Honda?
I know 8th knows what there doing cuz they turned me onto Asmoil and thats as good as it gets. So any help would be appreciated, and thanks for reading.

Minimum you should do is ATE super blue dot4 fluid. Cheap too, two bottles will run you 25-30$ tops and if you're good, one bottle is enough for a change.

A little more expensive is motulrbf600 or w/e it'll cost twice as much but is a better choice if you plan on doing some intense mountain runs or a little bit of track.

If that isnt good enough for you then go with project mu or endless brake fluid. That stuff will last multiple track days. But at a price of course. I use project mu ^^

Nice, looking into MOTUL. Its just a daily driver now. But acouple of things.
1-is Dot 4 okay for my system?
2-do you need any special hoses or parts when adding synthetic fluid?
and any other tips from you guys who switched from reg. Honda fluid to upgraded, thanks alot for the info

I was running rbf600 but switched to ATE superblue. RBF600 absorbs a crap load of moisture very quickly and for what it does, unless you are a hardcore tracker, you will never get that fluid anywhere near its boiling capacity.

It's super expensive (ran me 50 bucks for 2 bottls here in Canada) and I felt the brakes get progressively spongy after two track days. Also, because of its water absorption properties, it doesn't have a very long shelf life and can actually go bad in the bottle too (or so I've heard anyway)

ATE superblue I think is the best bang for the buck, plus it comes in two colours (yellow and blue) so it makes changing your fluids way easier and mroe efficient.

I wouldn't use Motul RBF600 if you don't go to track and you don't want to replace the brake fluid often.

I am actually just switched from OEM to Motul DOT5.1....i think this is a good alternative.

Valvoline Synthetic DOT4 is the best bang for the buck, since most auto parts stores should carry it and it boils dry around 500 F.

DOT5 is not for our systems and will cause problems, not sure problems it would cause but I know you don't put DOT5 fluid in a DOT3/4 system.

I just flushed my brake fluid out yesterday with prestone dot4 because that was the best the local shops sold.

DOT 5.1 isn't a problem.

Yeah, DOT 3/4/5.1 are all miscible/compatible with each other, being glycol ester and not silicone based.
