I have them and they are really rough. I did get them used and have had them for a while so maybe they're just getting worn out. Anyway I used to have D2 racing coilovers which are slightly higher than the Skunk2 Pro S' but they have dampening adjustment and I really liked them. I'm actually going to be going back to D2's when I get the money up.

Don't know about the Pro S. but I would say if you have $800 to spend and want a great suspension with awesome handling do HFP, save a few hundred bucks and call it a day, If you want to be lower do a lowering spring/shock combo like KONI/Pro Kit or KONI/Sportlines or what every spring gives you the drop you want.

Well that depends on what you want out of the suspension. If your goal it to change your suspension because you want better handling and a much more sporty ride then I would say absolutely go HFP. However if you want to have a slammed ride then the HFP kit is a no go. I believe even after fully settled the HFP only provides a 1 inch max drop, but I could be wrong. And I have seen posts where people get the HFP kit and later get shorter springs because they were not satisfied with the drop. So it all depends on what you want.
1. Great handling but small drop - HFP 2. Good, possibly great handling but lower than 1 inch - KONI/Lowering spring 3. Slammed but rides bad and handles bad - coilovers on a low setting Read the thread Geezer posted! Last edited by santellanm; 03-07-2010 at 11:44 PM. |

Oh and with the HFP suspension you don't have to worry about camber kits. I mean if you want to be able to adjust the camber for better handling performance then get them, but you don't need them to save the tires with the HFP. And if you choose to go HFP I think collegehillshonda is selling it for $450. Here is a link, hopefully they still have some left. If I had the money I would get it, but I'm broke.
