09 si coupe lowering question

ok so i want to put on some 18" rims with 225/40/18 tires. I'm looking at some skunk2 lowering springs. I read a lot about having to get camber kits and aftermarket suspension so it will ride right without rubbing. Is it all necessary or will 18" rims with springs be fine?
