changing front struts need help pls

Hey guys i got skunk2 suspension on my car. I decided that i want to go back to my stock suspension. i didnt install the skunk2 suspension but I want to switch it out for my stock suspension. I tried to do the swap today but ran into a problem. I got the skunk2 suspension off just fine but I dont see how to install the stock suspension given that it is about 4 inches longer then the skunk2's. So i got the 3 screws of my stock suspension screwed up top but i dont see how to get the bottom parts to match up with the wheel because my stock suspension is way longer. So what am I missing out on? Thanks

Jack up the whole front of the car. You are fighting the FSB if you jacked only one corner at a time.

Yeah, that. If you put both front corners on jack stands it will be much easier. Also, I find using a second jack (if you have one available) placed under the brake to keep the axle from popping out.

oh that makes sense. The axel or wheel part that the struts connect to should come down more if both front wheels are off the ground?

Yeah - if both are off the ground it will be much easier. Also, if your lowering the car, having an extra jack helps to get the knuckle (where the bottom 2 bolts of the strut are) high enough to get the bolts to slide in.

I hope that helped!
