Replacing Front and Rear Brake Pads

Just spend the last hour searching the forums but didn't find any clear answers. Therefore, if anyone could please help answer the questions below, I'm sure others will appreciate it too.

1. For daily normal driving (50 city / 50 hwy), what are the best front and rear pads to get? Prostop Ceramic, EBC green yellow red, Hawk, Brembo?

2. Ceramic pads? Semi ceramic? Which one a and why?

3. Please specify which brand of pads it was (autozone brand was it?) that had lifetime warranty? I'd be nice to just bring it back in when needed and to swap it out for fresh new pads for free.

4. When replacing brake pads, is it recommended to do both front and rear at the same time or does it not matter?

5. What are the torque specs for both the front and rear bolt(s)?

6. True/False, Prostop Ceramics don't need lubrication?

7. Any of these pads worth getting?
While we find your parts, please enter your ZIP Code at CSK Auto

8. OEM pads any good? Or just go aftermarket?

Thanks!

For a daily driver...

Duralast CMX Ceramic pads from AutoZone. Guaranteed for LIFE. They're quiet and stop pretty well.

Sucks I don't have an Autozone here in Hawaii, but I just called the mainland store and I'll just order it from the their website.

Lifetime warranty is pretty bada$$. Buy it once and only once for life haha. I really wanted the Hawks, but how could anyone pass up the lifetime warranty

Good thing I make frequent trips to mainland. Well, only would matter xx,xxx miles later til' I have to swap it out but still...

Thanks for the info...

.

Easy, lifetime warranty pads wont stop near as fast or take heat as well as a regular useable pad.

I don't doubt that at all. Lifetime warranty doesn't have any relevance to the quality of the brake, but in my case as a daily driver from point A to B, I think the Duralast Gold CMAX would be more than enough.

I'm just happy that I don't have to ever buy them again. That's all.

Here's the convincing thread that got me into Duralast CMX pads. EVO guys don't have CMX rear pads though.
