Tein S-techs

Just installed my springs and I have a few questions. Is the arrow on the top perch suppose to point out from the car or to the front of the car? Also is the bumpstop suppose to stay up top or just lie on top of the strut?

I'm having a MAJOR problem installing these springs. How did you guys get the top damper nut to go all the way down? I tried with the allen key and a 17mm wrench but it just won't go all the way down. The nut is so loose that everytime I drive the dampers are loose and make a LOUD bumping sound and feels like it's about to fall off. Someone please help me with this...

Actually it takes a thin walled very heavy offset wrench or a threaded rod socket wrench set. This will allow you to tighten the nut while inserting an allen key into the top of the strut rod to stop it from spinning while tightening the nut down. I am sure you serial suspension experts knew this though. Next question I lowered my car 5" do I really need a camber kit? You guys really need a thread specifically created for people who just want to up there post count. Credible information only comes from someone with high post numbers you know.

That's what I figured, glad you got it situated. Sometimes asking semi-technical questions here can be fustrating as you can see. Some folks should stick to answering threads like how do I install my cargo mat.
