Cusco Type 2 lower arm bar

Pics of the Type II front lower arm bar installed on our 06 SI:

There are 2 mods needed to install this brace as it is originally intended for the JDM Civic:

1) The exhaust hanger off the downpipe needs a slight modification - remove the rubber hanger and bend the lower hanger just above the upper hanger since this may interfere with the brace. Then, re-install the rubber hanger and you're all clear. I also have some stiffer exhaust hangers to test fit here to see if it will limit movement of the system here.

2) There is a small rattle of what I'm assuming is the cat-shield against the brace when the car is cold and you're moving from a dead stop and coming off the clutch. Once warm, the rattle is gone. A couple of small washers should provide enough clearance. I have an oil change to do this week so I'll remove the bar and see exactly what it's hitting.

I can post some better pics tomorrow - the sun was going down here hehe

Huh? It's a four point brace connecting the front subframe to the actual frame of the car.

Aren't they aluminum? Hmm...this looks pretty nice. How's the ride improved? Also, is it just the picture or does the left side (in the foreground) on the bar look slightly bowed?
