HFP was never designed for a drop in mind. It was designed by Honda as an actual increase in suspension preformance over stock.
You could expect the HFP dampers to last a tad longer, in theory, than if dropped on stock dampers. Nobody can tell you how long they will last. You WILL sacrifice performance of the dampers if you go this route. If you want to go lower than HFP and not sacrifice suspension performance, you are going to have to spend some money and go with a damper application such as KONI Sport (Yellows). If you are going just for looks, mate the Progress Springs to the HFP dampers. Last edited by Xtreme Thunder; 07-03-2009 at 09:28 AM. |

Well, think about this, if you are buying the HFP setup, how much is that going to cost? When you add the springs, how much are those gonna be?
You are getting close to the price of a set of entry level coilovers. |

i would advise against the progress spring drop i been rocking it for a good year and half with tokico blues but before that i had them on factory shocks i never liked the ride the look is awesome i daily drive my car but your daily driver will become horrible you wont enjoy it it leaves very little suspenision travel it feels sloppy and too soft either go str8 up with the hfp kit and live with the drop or go with something like prokit or h&r it will look good and perform nice for daily driving. Im switchin mine out really quick soon as i have some money
