"the noise" on stock r18 suspension???

So me and my friend were driving around in her r18 last night and she tells me she's been hearing a creaking noise from her suspension when she turns and such. I noticed it after a while too and wondered what it could be. Her car is fairly new so I think it might just be her suspension settling? There's no rubbing issues or anything. If anyone knows whats happening it'd be big help.

is it a big cling noise like something broke sometimes quiet super loud like something broke? If thats it then take it to honda tell them to retorque the bolt, I took it to them 3 times n dey tried replacing parts oiling stuff the only thing that worked was the the third try when they torqued the bolts

Hmm...is it like the creaking sound you hear similar to the sound you hear when you're turning and going over a bump (like pulling into your driveway or leaving a fast food joints drivethru etc) and your sunroof creaks?

It's when shes turning, so yeah those examples would work. And no the sunroof doesn't creak its the front suspension that creaks. It kinda sounds like creaking hardwood floor but deeper and a bit louder. I'm not completely sure how to describe it.

Interesting. I'm still evaluating (deciding if it's a genuine issue that needs to be checked by the dealership) the occasional creaking that comes from behind the glove compartment area in my 09 EX sedan. I think it usually happens as I gently accelerate from a stop, or when I turn slowly, or when I turn into my driveway.

I would equate the sound of tiptoeing on carpet in a house, but the floor underneath still makes that creaking sound. It's also similar to the creaking that comes from my sunroof when I'm turning into my driveway.

It's usually a faint creak, but it's enough to annoy the isht out of me. And yes, there are 267 threads on this, and I'm currently sifting through them to enlighten myself. It might just be the glove compartment knobs that hold it in, that need lubing. Or it could be the struts or any # of the 76 issues mentioned when I sifted through a couple of those threads . Might also have something to do with the unavoidable pothole that my right tires hit every day on the thin twisty on my way to work every day.

Retorque the bolts? I'll be sure to ask my dealer to do that. Thanks for the tip! I imagine my 09 will be taken care of without any money involved?
